@JDGeoShack@social.vivaldi.net I am halfway through White as the Snow by Lillja Sigurdardóttir. In part because I enjoy the sorties, and in part because I have it in both Icelandic and English translation so I can bolster my feeble grasp of the written language (Icelandic that is). What are you perusing?

@Wen@mastodon.scot Ooo nice. Iceland has such a fascinating language, and is a beautiful land. We honeymooned for a week there. It amazes me how many authors reside there! All sitting under their happy lamps I suppose in those long winter nights... Ég tala smá íslensku en er ömurlegur í að lesa hana. Currently, I'm reading One Level Down by Mary G. Thompson. Trapped in a simulation but mindful of it, and stuck in a body that cannot age past 5; the protagonist is in her mid 50s and must find a way to escape. Enthralling! pun intended. Happy page turning to you. 🖖
