I mean staff at the school probably just wanted a nice poster and don’t have the time or skill to do it. I generally hate AI but I also wouldn’t get upset about this. As lazy as it may seem, it might be someone doing the best they can with what is available to them.

They probably have tons of enthusiastic kids at school that love to design posters, and some are actually very good. But noooo run dem slop maschinen!

As i said in another comment: Canva makes so easy to just get a template, modify it slightly in ~15-30 minutes and have something looking good enough, no need for a graphic designer

Agreed. I feel like some people here just get super triggered when they see AI stuff. I’m not a fan either, but getting infuriated because of every slop they see anywhere will become frustrating soon. The sad reality is that AI is easy and convenient and most people are lazy.
