Of course there are points in the middle about the impunity of corporations, double standards, and the influence of money in legal systems. But that's not the critique I usually see.
I want the desire to protect public libraries to be larger than the desire to punish corporations.

@yosh@toot.yosh.is For me it’s a lot easier to say: “hur dur you need to follow the rules”, than it is to say: “The local laws around IP protection where the public library is located need to be improved”
