@__d@mastodon.social Mostly it's ignorance. They think that the USA should have zero restrictions on its behavior, not realizing that a cooperative international order is astonishingly more popular than the adversarial one they think should exist. Others have a religious angle to their hatred, seeing international bodies as inevitable tools of the imaginary Antichrist.
