Some days are much heavier than others - gratitde doesn't always ease it but can offer a broader perspective . Here are three things that I am grateful for today: 🌺 Today is the eighth yahrzeit of my mother's sister, Audrey. She had a very difficult life healthwise, relationshipwise, and financially. She had a big heart, she raised three amazing humans, and did her best not to allow her disabilities to stop her. 🌺 Today is also the one year anniversary of my friend's father's death. He was a talented landscaper and passed his business down to his sons and now it moves on to their sons. He was a good man who cared deeply for his family and community. 🌺 I found out today that a friend's son died two weeks ago yesterday at 18. He was a delightful, kind, and somewhat goofy young man who was just taking his first steps into his adult life.
