Full day: 8 AM the gravel truck drove in, dumped a load and I spent the day levelling and moving it around. I'm getting another Sea Can, but size is limited. I figured if I took out one Pear tree, I could get 40 feet in there. So, I dug out my mature pear tree, stuck it in a barrel of water until I could get back to it, and went to level and moved the gravel. I went to dig a new hole, to put the pear tree in, somewhere else, just to save it. Before I finished, we ran out of well water! Sucking air? That tree was soaking in water and the hose was still running.. all day. It ran the well dry. While waiting for the well to recover, I wheelbarrowed earth to bury that pear tree in the ditch. I did some other stuff too, like edging my roadway (Highways don't maintain it) and raking off the disturbed dirt. And yet, I don't feel like I got anything done today?
