Ich ärgere mich schon länger über das sexistische Artwork in Professor DM's #Deathbringer. In diesem (englischsprachigen) Artikel wird das schön aufgedröselt und problematisiert.     @Rollenspielblog@mastodon.pnpde.social I can't imagine how a project associated with Justin Alexander, who deadnamed Jenelle Jaquays and then tried to steal the credit for her signature dungeon style after she died, would be full of shitty people. The fact that this "Professor DM" associates with him is enough to make me instantly distrust him.

    @Rollenspielblog@mastodon.pnpde.social what really irritates me is that the marketing works and (a lot of) people buy this game when the only marker setting this game apart is the art. Because the game sounds quite boring (to me) or at least not innovative (objectively). And even that usp is not really unique, since other sexist Osr dudes made games that are mechanically or setting wise way more interesting while referencing similar sexist aesthetics. Influencers make this hobby worse (most of the time).
