I’m a big proponent of “showing your weird” – I’ve always liked weird people because they don’t appear to be hiding anything, whereas people who seem “perfect” are often too good to be true, and are fucked up in a way they have to hide. I’ve had success showing my weird; it weeds out those who would not want me, and that prevents wasted time and energy on something thatd never work.
