It seems this book was a bit of an own goal for the Taxpayers Onion. Hager said he had no plans to write about them. But then in 2023 they issued some preemptive reputation laundering claiming that he was, and within days sources started coming out of the woodwork 😂 #TaxpayersUnion #DirtyWork #NickyHager #NZHerald
