@TrueMasterCole@poa.st @Rasterman@detroitriotcity.com Things are much better now tho for people wanting to get into 2D Metroid - ahead of Dread coming out I replayed all the mainline games except Samus Returns (which was fresher in my mind and also a longer game), and in order to do so I had to do stuff like play Metroid Fusion on my Ambassador 3DS and play Zero Mission on my fucking Launch DS. If I decide to do something similar ahead of Ravenous, I can simply play 4 out of the 5 mainline 2D Metroids on my Switch 2 (actually, I could technically access all 5 of them, but the Game Boy version of Metroid II isn't all that enticing...).
