@nixCraft@mastodon.social A lot of shenanigans from US AI companies (OpenAI, Antoripic, xAI, Meta, ...) are actually "thriving" more because the government itself has lost its sanity. That's how I see.

@nixCraft@mastodon.social AI is like guns. Unless you can prove that it was a manufacture defect that killed a person gun makers are off the hook. It's 99.999% never their finger on the trigger. Somebody needs to intentionally (or nor) point and shoot. The shooter is then responsible. The same goes for AI. Now the morality of any of this is a different discussion. Especially knowing that manufacturers of both do their darn best for the things to be accessible to all.
