I lived in Texas for 30 years, I left 10 years ago and have no desire to go back. Apart from texmex klobasnek and a few other things, I don’t miss it at all.

I think people underestimate the differences between living in a deep red state vs a deep blue state. It's like night and day. I would never voluntarily step foot in a red state again for the rest of my life if I don't need to.
