Oh Lord, the scolds. I now block immediately, so they don't bother me much. But I think having to tell newcomers that they need to hit the block button makes it a harder sell.

@jztusk I block ‘em too, and thankfully I don’t encounter them very often. But I think newcomers often feel a bit overwhelmed by perceived tripwires here. They arrive, then they need rebuild their social network, and THEN they encounter ppl that scold them for breaking some unwritten rules. Shortly after I arrived, I posted a photo of my dog as a puppy. I had some guy insist that I place a content warning on my post because he didn’t want to see dogs on his timeline. Ummm…what? No. @ZebKing
