Source Skin Rendering The years go by and I still find myself booting up Left 4 Dead 2 now and again. When I do I catch myself saying over and over again: wow these character models still look damn good. Is it just me or is there something to the Source engines skin modeling ? It still to me looks convincing. Especially in comparison to other games actual in gameplay characters ? Edit: and the lighting water effects also still pretty fantastic…
