Reading an article about the UK's lack of resilience. We have 131 distribution centres vulnerable to Russian drone strikes. What on earth is our nuclear deterrent meant to deter? "It's ok Vlad, as long as you stick to destroying the food and energy distribution network, we'll not be opening the suitcase".

@keefeglise@mastodonapp.uk I suppose the feeling is maybe it's a little harsh to nuke Moscow & St Petersburg out of existence just because a drone set fire to a Asda warehouse. But maybe we need better drone-shooter-downerers if that's the threat we're genuinely facing. Although personally I think Putin tends to be lots of bark and very little bite, at last for countries that didn't used to be part of the USSR.
