Meanwhile #EdSheeran lets his fans eat cake. And they love it, and it’s no problem, and we’re all very happy now with cat pics and gardening. And the liberals that MLK warned us about drink high tea in tall and ivory towers, looking down while the fires and the floods and the plebes rise up. How high is your view? How fierce is your fortress of place and order and meritocracy and birth lottery? Will it be enough? That pounding on the door is the opening set for the “I’m not political” crowd.
