@TechTangents@dialup.space My wife does stained glass, and she’s constantly reading about people struggling to use patterns they’ve bought through the internet - and she can instantly see why: they’re AI generated, and can’t actually be done. I wonder if your grandmother even looked at the instructions deeply enough to see if they were capable of being made?

@CAWguy@thecanadian.social @TechTangents@dialup.space It's not on Grandma to be more discerning--Amazon should be held accountable for publishing shitty, misleading, and likely stolen content. She's from a generation when books represented a minimum standard that had to be met before publishing for the masses.
