@pelle@veganism.social Looks optional to me, and I don't think it'll affect the Makefile issues, but I will probably try that.
I'm trying to avoid projects (like Rust) that allow generative AI contributions, since there's actually no way to know if Claude or Copilot have output code that is subject to non copyleft restrictions.

@BoydStephenSmithJr@hachyderm.io ok ... it look like `uname -s` fails. what does that output on your system? "NetBSD"? maybe a makefile in nvm has an OS check conditional without NetBSD as an option?
