@cmconseils@mastodon.social That's evocative, but not going to happen, I feel. I was thinking about it right a few weeks ago. A similar repression, in an european country like France, would have raised total civil war. Not ordered disagreement, really war. I suspect that the american response, of the average citizen, is something like "oh, let's see, I have my job, I earn money, I'm middle class, all this stuff doesn't affect me. It will be gone in a few months, I keep on living quietly..."
