@ajn142@infosec.exchange hmmm, yeah i probably could use youtube for that? but it's nice for it to be in the same place i listen to all my other music. i wonder if there's some kind of app that combines the two sources
and i already use last.fm but never remember about the recommendations feature, will need to try that out, tysm!!

@b@mrrp.place at minimum, it’s probably feasible to connect your server listen history to last.fm some way, throw a bash script together that fetches your last.fm recommendations, fetch the top result from YouTube via yt-dl or w/e, and dump it into the server’s ingest pipeline, then throw that on a cronjob for whenever recommendations change. That way you listen in one place, and what you listen to each week influences the recommendation the next.
