An underrated feature of EVs is “utility mode” whereby you can just park for a long while with the heat or AC on with ~no emissions. This is absurdly useful for parking somewhere to let the small dude finish up a car nap while I get caught up on some scrolling or posting or possibly also napping

@leigh@ottawa.place Yup, also in car line waiting for kids. Not just full EVs either: the Prius is great at doing this automatically.
