@pezmico@mastodon.nz Yes Big oil is still huge, but some things have changed.... The price of PVs is 300x lower since then, installed solar capacity has increased by several thousand times. Countries and regions are now able to aim for energy sovereignty. Big Oil looses (some) grip.
