I was saddened to hear that the price for what omg.lol offers will soon more than double. Of course, I understand Adam’s arguments and fully support them. It offers many interesting and unique features for the community, and when you consider what you get, it’s a small fee. But as I only use the Mastodon instance (social.lol), the upcoming fee seems high. I’m wondering what to do next. Should I switch instances? Or perhaps stay here for now, renew my subscription for another year at the current price, and then think it all over again? To provide some context – as people from various countries read my posts – I should add that I have to multiply the dollar amounts by 4 to work out the price I’ll pay in my home currency.
