It does say that, but of course it's not *literally* true, as they casually say early on:

I like the experiment, but I dislike the clickbait headline, which 100% lies to the public, most of whom don't know when to trust science headlines and when not to.
Pet peeve.

@dougmerritt@mathstodon.xyz I do hesitate on some of these pop-sci sites, but sadly too many such papers are behind paywalls so these are all we get. In this case, the important detail is the Hawking Radiation 😊
