@Paul_stilgar@mastodon.social @murena@mastodon.social I tried this with Claude, and it asked me where I am, or if I would like a forecast for where I am based, giving that location as the location of my ISP. I asked it how it knew where I am based and it said it was from my profile information, although I have not set up a profile as far as I know.

@jtb@toot.wales @murena@mastodon.social ChatGPT argue that he didn’t know my ip address and try to convince me that it was an hallucination or that is was a coincidence or that it refers to previous questions. We all know that they use our location , what pissed me off is that they believe that we are stupid. For the record I don’t use ChatGPT ( or any other so called ai ) but sometimes I ask stupid questions so they lost more money and if he can help to pollute their llm it is a bonus. #chatgpt #ai
