Saw AKIRA in IMAX last night, in what I realized was my first time actually seeing the movie. I’d seen it in pieces at various anime club marathon screenings back when that was The Way to Watch Anime.

Anyway! Yes, it’s very good. Every moment is an animation flex. Staggering for 1988.
