There’s just something magical about finishing a cable run and plugging in the Ethernet to see the connection go in one end, disappear into a wall, and then pop out of a plug at the other end.

It’s also great when you have enough Ethernet ports at your central switch to light up all the ports in your house and you can just plug into any port in any room without having to think about it.
