@Tamasg@mindly.social My personal thought on the matter * is: It may be garbage/slop/whatever term you want to use, from a coding perspective. It may have been produced by an LLM with absolutely no human interaction at all. But if it does what the user wants, it's good enough for them. And if they want to publish it somewhere, each person has the right to use it or not use it as they wish. *: My only exception to this would be for software designed or intended to handle sensitive data (password manager, encryption utility, end-to-end encrypted messaging, etc.). In that case, I don't trust myself enough to know what I'm doing so that I would know if an LLM got something wrong, and would never publish such a thing, and if I were forced to, I'd put disclaimers all over the place. In some cases, bad security can be infinitely worse than no security at all, since it can unknowingly put at risk data which you would never have put into the system with no security.
