Not gonna lie, my biggest issue as a YouTuber and journalist is that I actually want to do research on the topics I cover rather than blindly cashing in on trends.
Like I’m writing about that YouTube channel by a kid who supposedly spent $118K on ads via his dad’s credit card.
And most outlets stopped their research there.
But then I looked into it and there’s a lot more to the tale than meets the eye…

For one thing, people found the dad ran a marketing agency, so his tale of being sacked by a large company seems dubious. The kid mentioned his dad was buying the ads in earlier videos. The dad is threatening to sue random YouTubers despite supposedly being broke and in serious debt. The company somehow wants all the money in 30 days, and the dad seems to think he can sell the house in that time frame. The story doesn’t add up, and I want to really investigate it.
