[1/3] Our second hike in Aukštaitijos Nacionalinis Parkas | Aukštaitija National Park began in the village of Ginučiai, settled in 1554 CE. The watermill has been a feature since at least 1738 CE (📷1) and the village contains many examples of traditional-style wooden houses (📷2). After leaving the village the trail follows a dirt road through forest for several kilometres before offering the first lake views, at the site of a bridge at a four-way crossroads (📷3).
