KIMIKO: I watched every episode of *Undercover Geisha* when I was a kid. I loved it, even the parts that were ridiculous, racist stereotypes. It meant so much to see someone who looked like me on TV. We watched with Japanese subtitles. It’s how I learned English. Er, what? Did she not grow up in Japan? Are there no Japanese people on Japanese TV?
