I’m being forced to use PowerPoint these days and its font rendering is so bad!!! Like Keynote wasn’t that great, but PowerPoint straight up does not support opentype features, something that a text editor should do. There’s no support for the multi-table kerning, making any modern font without truetype useless, it almost renders those fonts as each letter being a separate block. And even truetype support isn’t that great. The font menu has no options to adjust font features outside of barebones basics (kerning- yes or no)
