In this town and others, there is more local opposition than the mutiny of preverts expected, and for a variety of reasons. Local leaders are often cowed by hard core Nazis and will pretend to be "neutral."

But just as we see with MAGA Congress critters, they know this would be a shitshow. They just want other people to assume all the risk of making the problem go away. Well done to Phil Weiser, AG of Colorado, for being a real leader. He'll be a shoo-in for governor, especially running against a completely deranged MAGA candidate.
