While Java might not have a pair natively I've seen tons of people use AbstractMap.SimpleEntry for that functionality which imo is worse.

@the_moep @taschenorakel I've seen a backend Java project importing javafx library. The sole reason was that it contains a Pair type, and somebody depended on it when JavaFX was a part of the platform. https://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/javafx/api/javafx/util/Pair.html
