Ridley Scott movies from the era have interesting set design and and lighting signatures but like, beyond that... this was shallow as all hell.

Someone will consider this a bad take and that's ok- I get why this inspired so much media from an aesthetic angle, but my concerns are pretty much entirely with the writing.
