Some thought about his recent speech.
Though the influencer himself claimed about enhancing the economic success of the Richmond municipal area in his long term goal of his political campaign, he posted a strong opposition against the ongoing planning of the expansive development of the South Fraser terminal based in east Richmond.
Regardless of the potential flourish of international business opportunities, which will certainly create more jobs and demands for the local labour market, the influencer is more concerned about property prices drop, which will hurt the super riches.
Before his public expression of the opposition against the expansive development of the South Fraser terminal, the influencer previously rationalized how the affordable housing would hurt him and his supporters.
Apparently, his "make Richmond rich" campaign only cares about making the riches richer. That's why plenty of his supporters are landlords who do not work but keep cashing out from their rental properties. With this in mind, we could understand why he hates the unions so much —— all he and his supporters want is cheap labour that serves him and the landlords behind him with the expensive rental payments from their tenants. Meanwhile, the laborers who serve them are paying other landlords, where the rental payment consists of a great portion of their monthly income.
I wish the influencer and his supporters would understand that winners can't take all in Canada.
