@alexia@shrimp.starlightnet.work there's https://community.kde.org/Policies/Commit_Policy stating "assistants and such must not be described in commits using tags like "Co-authored-by" or similar", de facto implying usage of AI tools, plus with a lack of policy the observed behavior was some KDE devs using LLMs (plus the usual slop contributions that are obviously turned down), so I think it's misleading to state the policy would allow something that wasn't allowed before, it's de facto a restriction
