  I’m actually becoming deeply convinced that one of the biggest dangers to the Jewish community is Israel itself. As things currently stand, they have the power to make people hate Jewish people more than just about anything else in this world. Not because I’m conflating being Jewish with being Israeli or vice versa, but because that appears to be the message they want to the world to embrace. That is really synonymous with being Jewish. Look at how quickly right wingers run the world are to jump to calling you anti-Semitic if you don’t appreciate something israel does.
