One of the things about driving a convertible is one is quite visible. That can be good and bad. Yesterday, I was driving down a street when a Waymo came from the opposite direction. I did a full arc sweep of the left arm to full extension and a single-fingered salute, as I drove on. Just ahead on my side of the street was a street construction crew, who all smiled and gave me thumbs-up. Solidarity.
