I ride a bike, I pedal. Then I replace it with a bike with a bunch of non-ecological chemicals from who knows where in the battery. OK. How did I reduce the demand for oil?

@Zoufalec@mastodonczech.cz @spillanemike@mastodon.ie did you read the article? The demand for electric bikes isn't driven by cyclists, it's driven by people who would otherwise use a car.
