@penwing@wandering.shop Conversely, Ready Player One was a fun read but the majority of its MacGuffins mean absolutely nothing to people who are too young (read: Under 50) to know Infocom adventures or and many, many of the other late 1970s / early 1980s gaming references. And beware, non-gamers. How is that a "beginner" title... I'd much rather point people to Neuromancer or Snow Crash.
