I think organized religion is shitty but I still cringe at anti-shariah rhetoric.
Every western politician, journalist, and content creator I seen uses the word wrong in a way that shows they never even looked up what it is.
Imagine we had anti-chinese politicians shouting “I will remove the Tao law from US.” What the fuck does that even mean??

It’s such an absurd bogeyman. Politicians have been talking about instituting public healthcare in the USA my entire life, and it still hasn’t happened. I have never heard a single American politician promoting Sharia Law, but republicans act like this shit is coming any day now unless we act fast. By the way: I have no idea what shariah law actually entails because I don’t care because I don’t have to because it is not happening. 50 years after half of all politicians in the USA start demanding it I may bother to look up the details.
