Netherlands is also very densely populated. you can’t get the same near-distance mobility in most rural regions, and that’s where about half of the world population lives btw.

If you look at density in populated areas, they are not that far off from other places. I feel like the density argument is used to stifle and effort to make other cities better. Don’t believe it. Walkability can bring density if done right.
