Just shipped KCast 0.3.1 — ripped out the last C++ plugin dependency (KCastBridge) and moved everything to pure QML, controlling catt via Plasma5Support instead. No more compiling anything just to install a Plasma widget. KCast casts local files, YouTube links, and streams straight from your KDE desktop to any Chromecast device. No browser tab, no official Linux app from Google needed. Open source, GPL-3.0 https://github.com/Agundur-KDE/KCast #KDE #Linux #FOSS #Chromecast
