Understanding this immediately as a European makes me realize I’m wayyy too chronically online. USA is the only reality TV show I need.

Right? I’m constantly amazed how many foreigners are aware of what’s going on in US politics and even details about how our government works. It shows how much our shitty politics affect the world. I’m sorry. It highlights how bad Americans are at paying attention and doing their homework because most Americans have no fucking clue what’s going on or how their own government works. To be fair, I’m barely aware of what’s going on in other nation’s politics, but that’s largely because I’m hyper aware of what’s going on in U.S. politics and, unfortunately, that takes up a lot of my time and patience and sanity.
