We really have to stop saying, "This is not who we are." Meaning we are not rude, racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, mean, etc. The election results I am seeing (no matter the final outcome) indicate "This IS exactly who we are." We no longer get to sit in a moral high ground. We no longer get to spread our fake message of democracy. We cannot sit in judgment of anyone.
