I’ve seen other DIY catio projects that look a lot nicer. But none of them so far rely on as many load-bearing zip ties as mine.

My favorite part of building it this time (now on version 4) was having access to an industrial size laser cutter, which allowed me to laser cut a cat door hole in a pice of 3’x2’ plexiglass that’s placed into the window, rather than having to hand-dremmel out the hole.
