@KanawhaCountyWX@mastodon.social That has to be my favorite weather blooper of all time! I laugh every time I hear that. But I don't think I've ever heard the one you speak of from Dallas though? I wondered if there ever have been crazy weather blips like that besides the awesome Phoenix one that noone can top

@kd6cae@dragonscave.space There was one from Oaklahoma where every town but Tulsa was showing a temperature of 999, there's one from ABC-7 Chicago where the meteorologist discovers his display is a touchscreen and can move the map, there's one from 2015 in Iowa where the presenter gets the "Install Windows 20" message, and not a blooper but there's also a fake apacoliptic forecast that was intentionally taped at the WTVR studios in Virginia with everything from volcanos to Godzilla.

@kd6cae@dragonscave.space @KanawhaCountyWX@mastodon.social once the NOAA weather radio station here in Madison got messed up. It said there would be lows 100 to 125 below zero.
