The patient is a 13-year old MacBook Pro undergoing a radical battery and keyboard transplant. Fingers crossed that it survives the operation.

The patient is alive and charging out in the workshop. Unfortunately the keyboard transplant couldn’t happen because it is apparently soldered to the case. 😖 Thanks to @iFixit for parts and a comprehensive guide. This fives me the confidence to tackle the younger cousin-a 10-year old who _really_ needs a new battery. #ifixit #diy #righttorepair #macbookpro
