Internet is just networks of networks.
People fall into the trap of thinking there's only 1 internet. Fedi is filled with people smarter than that.
Stop routing to bad networks.
Balkanize.
Set up new Cert Authority with your buddies and pals, provision some new DNS root servers.
Let's just abandon these ridiculous companies who think they run everything and everyone!
The protocols are architected for it.

@mousey@mastodon.seattlematrix.org @Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange SO MUCH THIS. I mean, why couldn't we run it like fedi - block whole networks we don't want to provide access to? I've been saying for a loooooong time we should just drop the routes to ru ip blocks. Shit would stop FAST.
